The closest I've found to an RO2-esque gamemode is the Operations mode https://www.battlefield.com/news/article...tions-mode which focuses on historical battles with a team attacking and a team defending.

The Conquest footage they showed in E3 looked like some run & gun shit straight out of CoD which blows, so hopefully these Operation maps turn out to be somewhat decent...

Given how stoned he looks he was probably asking the same question. Best way to play battlefield, otherwise it gets a bit boring and repetitive.

Probably going to give this a solid miss too, not big on a re-skinned BF4, especially with all the DLC they'll be chucking out.

And it'll most likely be pretty bugged at launch.

I dunno I've always liked battlefield for what it is now. Since bad company 2. If I want explosions I'll play battlefield for a while.

i was excited when i saw the release trailer but after seeing the game play i am disappointed. so many unhistorical weapons and sights on weapons just looks like another CoD run and gun clone

I find it off putting that they are including France as a DLC but America in the base game. They have italy but not france???

That's like having Cambodia as a playable faction and not the Viet-cong in a Vietnam game...

what did you expect from EA

this is just mindless pap for the masses. Even britain in ww1 merely played a supporting role for france and americans call them cowards

Really disappointing, thought the guns would be centered around bolt-actions, but instead we see the same guns but a historical equivalent. People running around with lewis guns and mp 18's while theres only a handful of bolt actions. Don't even attempt to argue with a casual gamer about this sort of thing, they'll shit their pants.
