An open letter to Jerk Store and Pussyhand

same here but I've only been around for two months. My first exposure to the bullshit was that one HotW night where welldone showed up after apparently having left for a while, and Jerkstore went off his fucking nut. It didn't actually affect the game much, but then it spilled over into the forums and that's what lead to both of them getting a month long ban the last time.

From a new member's perspective, since that was mentioned earlier, it's two people being dickheads, one who's a sperg who doesn't know when to stop, and one who's a jerk that can't let go of a grudge.
I've met many spergs, so many that I wouldn't even be able to count them, entire communities of spergs, and they stop being a problem when everyone else just ignores whatever bullshit they spout. It's not like useful idiot is killing the server with his conspiracy theories.
People who can't let go of grudges and keep starting trouble are usually more of a problem, especially when they demonstrate that they don't let up even when told, which is apparently what has happened with Jerkstore. Basically he needs to chill the fuck out and learn how to ignore people he doesn't like, and if he can't do that then he can enjoy his ban, honestly. There's no point getting this worked up over the internet.

While Jerk does need to drop his shit, have a little hate-wank and get over all of this, there's the other side of the issue and it's not entirely Welldone. Welldone is only a real problem because the one person who should be ignoring him isn't and has given him what he's wanted regardless of the rest of the community.

The SNLF skins were removed from the game during development because antimatter games knew they'd cause TK's galore. The first mod naturally did when it was added, but despite copious protest wasn't removed for months and months. Welldone earned all the current ire due to viciously attacking everyone who opposed (even politely) the skins. Honestly he can't control his obsession, that's not his fault, but the lying and bile was a bit much. That they weren't removed subjected Welldone to more hate than he needed to have copped, and that's Cat's fault. Welldone isn't a child and shouldn't be given whatever he wants. Despite his behaviour he's still a capable adult. I know Cat wanted the skins added too, but with all the problems they produced common sense should have prevailed.

The second time the skins were added was without the consent of the community and without proper testing. I'd think most everyone is less pissed at Welldone because he's himself, but because one or two people seeming have what they want at the expense of everyone else. And there's been other issues before Welldone.

The time all the stock maps were removed from rotation and replaced with a ton of buggy customs did plenty of damage. Scarlet alone has chased too many people off, never mind the preferential treatment he's gotten. So did not banning shit-stirrers who abused the latter fact to damage the server's reputation, or who made clear efforts to sabotage the community (one who exploited a glitch during campaign to cheat for his team only to be unbanned a week later. WTF?). Hell, someone should have come down harder on Jerkstore sooner.

(You) being next to the post that rolled trips in this case means that the person who rolled that post number is the same person who is taking the screenshot. That doesn't conceivably identify anybody, in fact it is extremely rare to roll trips, so whoever did that must have been rolling lots of posts again and again (which would take a long time considering the 60 sec post cooldown).

The more likely case is that someone else entirely took that screenshot to prove to Welldone that he was the person to roll those trips, so he could claim the free Steam game or whatever was purported to be offered.

So all it says is whoever did it was dedicated enough to put in that time to make the original post, and the post with Welldone's info, as well as possibly some posts inbetween. Either Welldone hates Jerk so much that he would spend a long time making posts on 4chan to falseflag him, or Jerk is so tsun-tsun for Welldone that he'd have his Facebook account name and stalk him on there for laughs. That seems pretty conceivable to me, as the recent photoshop Jerk did of the Bane scene w/ Welldone's face on Bane used two photos from Welldone's profile pics on Facebook. (I know this, as I have Welldone on there. Don't dox me too hard, lads.)

Even if he did link his fb account on his old forum account it's still especially stupid and wrong for Jerkstore to pull that shit. He's really trying to fully earn that 1 year ban now.

Ban upgraded to 2.5 years for impersonating server players in game.
Impersonated Larkham and Supermeganova.
Although Jerk said Larkham was fine with it, that doesn't excuse anyone else in the server that would have been deceived by the false name.
Not sure if Supermeganova was party to the name change.

I did a quick scan of post from Jerk. Of the 170 or so posts he made 99% were related to defending his actions or trolling.

The account banned yesterday was Jerk's alt account. It had the alias of regulars RO2 players.

To Fatal Flaws comments, yeah sure I can wear criticism about SNLF and persisting with it. I can also take credit for testing and implementing plenty of other enhancements made outside of the game developer. Aussie / NZ is a custom server and explores the boundaries to create a more intense and challenging experience for players.

I played plenty of matches with SNLF uniforms and found them a welcome (no pun intended) change. I am an average player at best with RO2 and had no difficulty with distinguishing the different uniforms.

Really felt people were being a bit soft about it actually. Maybe I over estimated the skill set of the Aussie / NZ player base.

As for testing issues. The final straw for SNLF - seems a test in a small environment wouldn't detect its failure. But it was detected immediately on a full server and the mode removed within an hours.

So the controversy was essentially
1) players were a bit soft and couldn't deal with it
2) a community member had a major hard on for it and wouldn't shut up about it

Maybe with RS2 I keep the radar thing so if the player has a fucking red triangle above them they are the fucking enemy.

However Welldone has said he is not really interested in RS2 because of its period isnt of interest.
So how about we just say Welldone's ban period is exactly the same as Jerks - 2.5 years.
