Now there is a dilemma with Bridges .  Problem is when Axis attack it crashes because there are no provisions for an Axis tank.  TWI will include it in the next custom map pack (eta unknown) or I can install an infantry only version that the map developer has kindly provided.
Down side with the infantry only version is that everyone will need to down load it as its basically a separate map.  Or wait and see if TWI gets the shit right and provisions an axis tank, something i reckon they will probably over look.

it would be good to make a regular night for campaign mode, the one last Sunday was great..
The average rounds expended per kill with the M16 in Vietnam was 50,000. Snipers averaged 1.3 rounds.
The cost difference was $2300 v 0.27 cents.

Sunday seems to be a popular day for RO2 and I have run a Campaign the last two or three Sundays. Will set up another for sunday.

Campaign last night was great!! Stayed up way too late to see it through lol. For those who missed it, US got pushed back to one territory, and only managed to defend it with a narrow victory, then turned around and won every single round from then on to a total US victory! (did that have anything to do with me taking over US TL at that point? Probably not, but I can pretend)

I had wife duties but popped my head in to check the score at about 10.30 pm and it was Axis 9 Allies 1.
Then it was Axis 8 Allies 2 and got down to Axis 5 Allies 5 when I headed off to bed.
Great come back.

Was it an unusually epic battle ? Just thinking maybe I should kick these off a little earlier in the night. Maybe 6 instead of 7.

Earlier wouldn't really make a difference to me, I had to have dinner and help get my son ready for bed before I jumped on, about 8:45 (QLD time), and then it finally finished up about 11:30. But if you want to get things started an hour earlier it doesn't bother me.

It was pretty unusually epic (from the Allies perspective... Axis probably were swearing their heads off lol) I've really never seen a turnaround like it. The funny thing was, Allies were attacking with about 1/4 the Combat Power (whatever that is) of the Axis, until about 2 territories to go, when we finally overtook them.

For the most part it was all the same teams, too, although there were a few switcheroos. As it got later, more and more people wussed out and went to bed, for the last match there was about 8 per team.

The campaign can be set to start with different attack power (whatever that does). There is a short, long and default campaign + custom all with different amounts of power. Ideally you want the campaign to be all wrapped up by 10.30 at the latest on a Sunday at which point I switch it back over to normal mode.

I think ro2 works better for campaign. More maps in ro2-it seemed as if we were playing the same few maps over and over in rs. Plus the yanks have a pretty big edge over the japs due to better weapons which is no longer reduced by map balancing. For example if japs attack iwo jima it is a big struggle.
