I also want to say nice things to say about Fallen Fighters, since I know a lot of people don't like it much. Well fuck them because I think it's great. More brutal meatgrinders on the server pls.
 

Yeh I am a fan of fallen fighters too, love the attempt at some historical accuracy, univermag building,
but only with pretty much a full server. If theres only 10 a side i don't think it works as well

Agreed, I like Fallen Fighters.  That map requires teamwork and tactics.

What's the server maplist these days?

Seems to be changing daily because of the final part of the map comp and also because of a few problems with SteamWrokShop.  Though it appears the Steamworkshop issue is seeming to be resolved but mappers need to re upload their work so its taking a bit of time to get those maps back into the maplist.
 
There are also five capture the flag maps which are pretty fun to play when the server has less than 40 players.
 
When there is more map stability I will try to publish a list of the maps on the aussie / nz server.
 
Also, at the moment I have it set for map voting but there is still a bug that allows the same map to be voted in after it has just been played.  There is a setting that can prevent this (no repeat for 4+ maps) but it is not functioning.  I can turn it back to no vote and work through the maplist from top to bottom.

I'm keen to try some CTF but no-one votes for it (excl me obv) so that would work quite well for me, at least.

CTF is a good thing and a nice change every now and again. IMO more shooters need to include it; and hey it was a staple back in the ye olde shooter days.

I might set aside some time in the afternoon for a Capture the Flag only session.

Don't be surprised if I'm already a sleep by then.

Did we have the CTF session already? Did I miss it? Still keen to play some.
